• full research papers and short communications that deal with fundamental aspects of cancer in the areas of molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry, biophysics, genetics, virology, endocrinology, and immunology, with particular emphasis on the mechanisms of action of carcinogens and therapeutic agents, cancer prevention, epidemiology and ecology, and clinical experience which delineate effective new diagnostic methods and therapeutic regimens;
• letters to the Editor which contain valuable scientific information.
