APPLICATION OF HUMAN DNA PROBES LIBRARY IN MOLECULAR CYTOGENETIC ANALYSIS

Abstract. DNA probes library has been developed in Armenia for molecular cytogenetic analysis by Fluorescence in situ Hybridization in peripheral blood and/or bone marrow specimens of patients with leukemia and samples of peripheral blood, amniotic fluid and/or chorionic villi of patients with congenital malformations. DNA probes library permitted to analyze 105 slides of 35 patients with leukemia and 43 slides of 30 patients with congenital malformations. On the base of our experience we can recommend its collection for molecular cytogenetic laboratories.
